De De Pyar De Movie Review:
A 65 years old Investor and a beautiful sexy 25 chick, what more you can expect from a new generation love story. But this love story is not just about romance or flings of new generation. The Love Ranjan films has everything that can make you fall. He has again succeeded to recall the magic of his previous movies in better way this time. This family entertainer is a joy ride to everyone.
De De Pyar De starts with a bachelor party in London giving new head to the series of romance between Ajay Devgan and Rakul Preet. This is story of Ashish Mehra (Ajay Devgan) and sexy bartender cum engineer Ayesha (Rakul Preet). The movie takes turn of comic events when they both go back to India seeking approval from the separated wife and family of Ashish Mehra. The movie focuses on the fact that age is just a number and love can happen anytime.
Ajay Devgan in his character has made as usual the best of him in comic role. He let the audience laugh on him and feel his thoughts in the whole movie. His chemistry with ravishing Rakul Preet doesn’t feel awkward for a single second. She compliments him and mesmerizes with her dialogue delivery and beautiful charm. She showed her finesse as the young girl who is living her life without any regrets and full of zeal. Another best part of the Film is Tabu. After Andhadhun and series of hit films. She has shown her comic and acting talent in De De Pyar. As a separated woman, she doesn’t make you feel pity but you get fallen for her every now and then. Her charm and charisma is every inch a wonder. She is not only the best voice of reason in this movie but also the real vine you will love to taste. The director has used the old songs in the comic scenes perfectly. You may not be able to hold your laugh whenever any old song comes on the screen.
The director Akiv Ali has made a good effort in striking the balance between the modern and old values. The film handles the sensitive topics like separation, age gap, live-ins with beautiful maturity. Despite having all the melodramatic opportunities, Akiv Ali wrapped it with the unpredictable ending without any heavy and melodramatic dialogues. Overall, it is a ride to laughter, romance and fun which is worth to watch.
